“Senators Lindsay Graham and Ted Cruz have called for the U.S. to end its financial support for the U.N. until the Security Council abrogates Resolution 2334. As a member of the Appropriations Committee, I stand with Senators Graham and Cruz in supporting de-funding the U.N. until the resolution is rescinded.
WASHINGTON, DC: Today, Congressman Andy Harris (MD-01) introduced the Federal Immigration Law Compliance Act of 2016 (FILCA) in the House, with co-sponsors from California to New York to Florida. FILCA requires any entity receiving federal funds, including institutions of higher learning, to comply with all lawful requests made by federal immigration enforcement authorities.
WASHINGTON, DC: In a letter sent today, Congressman Andy Harris (MD-01) urged Baltimore County Executive, Kevin Kamenetz to reconsider his stance on refusing to comply with federal law enforcement on the issue of illegal immigration. Recently, County Executive Kamenetz penned a letter to the county’s higher education leaders, in which he urged schools to defy federal immigration law, and indicated that he instructed Baltimore County Police to do likewise.
