Committees

Congressman Harris serves as Chairman of the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and related agencies subcommittee on Appropriations. The House Committee on Appropriations is the committee that is in charge of the amount of federal dollars that are allocated to various areas. The committee also holds oversight to ensure that tax dollars are being spent properly.
