WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01), the Acting Ranking Member of House Appropriations Agriculture Subcommittee, is pleased to announce that the Department of Transportation listened to our Delegation request and issued a discretionary grant award in the amount of $20,000,000 to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation. The purpose of the grant is to fund the final design for the preplacement of the 115-year-old Susquehanna River Rail Bridge connecting Havre de Grace and Perryville, MD.

WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01), the Acting Ranking Member of House Appropriations Agriculture Subcommittee, is pleased to announce that the USDA Rural Development is providing a $306,600.00 grant to Pocomoke City to purchase a new ambulance and improve access to emergency medical services. This new ambulance will replace an older vehicle near its lifespan that lacks key modern safety and health standards.
