WASHINGTON, DC: After connecting with more than 3,200 constituents during his June 6 event, Congressman Andy Harris (MD-01) will hold another telephone town hall this month for the residents of Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. The Congressman's office will automatically call out to nearly 80,000 constituents living in these counties, pulling phone numbers from the constituent services database. If constituents prefer to be called on a certain phone number, they can list that number through the link below.

There was an early question from a constituent about the financial solvency of Social Security, another about the recent passage of a bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act, then a pointed query as to why the telephone town hall was a telephone town hall and not an in-person one.

Joining the $4.5 million in state funds already allocated for this year's beach replenishment project, which is scheduled to start after Labor Day this year, is another $2.45 million from the Army Corps of Engineers, according to a release from Congressman Andy Harris' office.

"Under the Paris Accord, the United States would pay trillions of dollars in economic costs and lose millions of jobs, while China is permitted to increase its emissions through 2030. President Obama made a bad deal, and President Trump can do better. Any new international climate agreement should be ratified by the U.S. Senate, as outlined in the Constitution."
