Washington, D.C: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01), will hold two telephone town halls this week reaching out to more than 100,000 constituents. On Tuesday, March 5th, Congressman Harris will dial out to constituents on the Upper Shore of the District. Then on Thursday, March 7th, Congressman Harris will dial out to constituents living in the Mid-and-Lower Shore.

Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, August 15th, Congressman Andy Harris M.D. (MD-01), will hold two in-person town halls, one in Cecil County and one in Harford County. The purpose of these town halls is to hear from constituents about important issues that concern them and to answer questions about the Congressman's work during this current term in Congress. The town halls are free, open to the public, and include an extensive question and answer session.

Congressman Harris will nominate the finest students from Maryland’s First Congressional District for appointments to the U.S. Military, Naval, Air Force, and Merchant Marine Academies.

As a veteran, I fully understand the commitment and sacrifice each serviceman, and servicewoman makes for our great nation. Our veterans are heroes and deserve our respect and gratitude. However, for many veterans coming home, it is a difficult and painful transition – especially dealing with the VA bureaucracy.
