WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D., announced that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in consultation with the Department of Labor (DOL), will next week formally issued a rule to release 22,000 supplemental H-2B visas for the 2021 Fiscal Year. These visas will be available to employers starting on May 25th. The release of supplemental H-2B visas by DHS is pursuant to the Harris Amendment to the Fiscal Year 2021 Department of Homeland Security appropriations bill passed into law in December 2020.
