Entitled "Angelfish," Georgia's work will hang in the halls of Congress for one year, and she will be honored at the annual award winners ceremony in Washington, D.C. WASHINGTON, DC: Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) today announced that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has awarded a nearly $15.7 million contract to Weeks Marine Inc. for the replenishment of beach sand in Ocean City. The project is expected to procure approximately 1.3 million cubic yards of sand from the outer continental shelf to replenish 8.3 miles of beach.

Inc., a non-profit Community Action Partnership in Salisbury whose focus is to help people reach personal economic independence. Funding for this grant originated from the Head Start Program, a division of the Administration for Children and Families within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

WASHINGTON, DC: Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) announced that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has committed to stop and dredge in Ocean City in late July. This plan will allow the Army Corps to address the known shoaling in the inlet as well as potentially remove other obstacles caused by Tropical Storm Elsa. Specifically, the corps will be in town for 48 hours of inlet work between July 26th and 29th.

WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D., today wrote Governor Hogan and Maryland Secretary of Health Dennis Schrader to urge them to put a stop to University of Maryland System vaccine mandates given the recent acknowledgement by the CDC and a published study out of Israel citing a strong correlation between the COVID-19 vaccines and myocarditis or pericarditis, mostly in young men, typically between the age of 16-30.
