In the event of a lapse in government funding:

In the event of a lapse of appropriated funds at midnight October 1, normal operations of the United States Government will be suspended until funding is restored. Staff will not be allowed to report to work, check emails or respond to your messages for the duration. This will likely result in a delay in responses to your inquiries.
