WASHINGTON, DC: On Wednesday, March 21, the American Hungarian Federation and the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation will present Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) and Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) with the Lajos Kossuth Award. This award is granted in recognition of Dr. Harris and Ms. Kaptur's support in strengthening U.S. relations with Hungary and of democracy and human and minority rights in Central and Eastern Europe. Dr. Harris and Ms. Kaptur are currently Co-Chairs of the Congressional Hungarian Caucus.
WASHINGTON, DC: The 2018 Congressional Art Competition is now open for submissions. This competition recognizes talented high school artists from each Congressional district. Winners will be invited to attend a reception in Washington, D.C. and will have their artwork hung in the U.S. Capitol.

WASHINGTON, DC: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has awarded a contract of $1.4 million for the dredging of Knapps Narrows in Talbot County, MD. Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) has consistently supported and worked to secure funding for the Knapps Narrows project, and released the following statement in support of the Army Corps' announcement:
