Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Andy Harris voted against H.J. Res. 48 “Further Continuing Appropriations Amendments, 2011.” It was the latest in a series of Continuing Resolutions brought about by the previous Congress’ failure to meet its constitutional obligation to pass a budget.

Rep. Harris Supports Repealing Job-Crushing 1099 Mandate
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the House will begin debate on H.R. 4 “Small Business Paperwork Mandate Elimination Act” to address the inherently flawed ‘1099 provision’ in the Obamacare law. The ‘1099 provision’ forces 30 million businesses, large and small, to file burdensome tax forms every time they spend $600 or more with an individual vendor.
