WASHINGTON, DC – Today marks the second anniversary of the failed Stimulus package being signed into law. With a final price tag of over $1 trillion, the Stimulus bill did nothing but add to our out-of-control national debt, which now stands at over $14 trillion.
Rep. Harris Proudly Supports Callahan’s Gas & Appliances Wounded Warrior Propane Truck
Washington, DC – Rep. Harris thanks Callahan’s Gas & Appliances for their support of the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Callahan’s will support the WWP through the introduction of a Wounded Warrior Propane Truck.
A moment of silence was held at the United States Capitol Building and all House Office Buildings.
Over the weekend I was horrified to learn about the shooting of my colleague Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. My family and I extend our deepest thoughts and prayers to Rep. Giffords, her family, staff and the people of Tucson, Az. We offer our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the victims of this shooting who did lose their lives.
United States House of Representatives is scheduled to conduct the first votes of the 112th Congress on January 5th, 2011 at Noon.
