Rep. Harris and Rep. Kaptur to Receive Lajos Kossuth Award

WASHINGTON, DC: On Wednesday, March 21, the American Hungarian Federation and the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation will present Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) and Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) with the Lajos Kossuth Award. This award is granted in recognition of Dr. Harris and Ms. Kaptur's support in strengthening U.S. relations with Hungary and of democracy and human and minority rights in Central and Eastern Europe. Dr. Harris and Ms. Kaptur are currently Co-Chairs of the Congressional Hungarian Caucus.

The award will be presented at an open-press public reception on Wednesday night.
