Rep. Andy Harris to Meet with Government Officials and Local Businesses in Cecil County
WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris (MD-01) will meet with Cecil County Sheriff Scott Adams on Thursday, October 11, to discuss the opioid epidemic.
Congressman Harris will also talk with local employers about how tax reform has helped their business. He will visit Warwick Mushrooms; a part of Phillips Mushroom Farms, one of the largest marketers of specialty mushrooms in the U.S. Rep. Harris will then visit Bluegrass Materials Company, which has three quarries located in Maryland's First District. Bluegrass emphasizes keeping the Chesapeake Bay clean by implementing erosion control and clean watershed policies. Media are welcome to attend; events are not open to the public.
