Rep. Andy Harris to Attend Launch of Mistletoe Commerce-Business Park and Local Clothing Company

October 19, 2018

WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris (MD-01) will meet with Spunkwear, LLC, in Queen Anne's County, and will also participate in the initiation of the Mistletoe Hall Commerce-Business Park alongside Governor Larry Hogan on Friday, October 19.

Spunkwear is a women's clothing manufacturer and retailer that makes their products in the USA. Congressman Harris will discuss the effect of tax laws on Spunkwear and its business.

Congressman Harris will then attend the Mistletoe Hall Commerce-Business Park initiation. Earlier this year, the U.S. Department of Commerce approved a grant of $2.3 million to the Town of Easton to help convert vacant woodland and farmland at Mistletoe Hall into a Commerce-Business Park. This investment is expected to create 55 new jobs, help to keep 137 jobs, and to kick-start $4.5 million in private investment.

Media are welcome to attend.
