Harris Furious Guantanamo Prisoners Considered for Vaccine

WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D., issued the following statement after the Biden Administration revealed and then delayed plans to vaccinate prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba before the general American population:

"Americans should be outraged that the Administration decided that the 9/11 masterminds would be eligible for the vaccine before our seniors or brave servicemembers even have the chance to secure their dose. As a physician, I have to ask: exactly how are prisoners in isolation supposed to be at a higher risk of getting COVID than American citizens who are not imprisoned? Once again, the President has shown that his priorities are not about America and Americans first."
