Congressman Harris Statement on Baltimore County Detective Injuries During Dangerous Criminal Arrest

WASHINGTON, DC: Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) issued the following statement in response to the two officers injured during the hours-long criminal pursuit of David Linthicum. 

Congressman Harris Statement:

"Yesterday as a brave Baltimore County Detective pursued a wanted criminal, he was injured in the line of duty and is surviving on life support. I am holding this brave detective and his family in my prayers. I am also praying for the full recovery of the second officer injured during the same criminal pursuit and am receiving regular updates on the improvement of both officers. Each and every day, police officers risk their own lives to protect the lives of the greater community and after this criminal pursuit, I want to thank our local police officers for their service, courage, and bravery during this dangerous criminal arrest."
