Congressman Harris Joins Protect Kids Caucus
WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01), the Acting Ranking Member of House Appropriations Agriculture Subcommittee is pleased to announce that he has joined Congresswoman Debbie Lesko’s Protect Kids Caucus (PKC). The purpose and mission of this caucus is to promote policies and practices that protect children from sexualization in schools, health care, government programs, and online. The Protect Kids Caucus also provides a platform for experts and parents across the nation to inform Congress on threats to children’s innocence. As an original cosponsor of the Parents Bill of Rights Act, Congressman Harris has been a leading voice in Congress on protecting children from woke ideology indoctrination and ensuring that each educational agency publicly disseminates their curriculum so that parents have the right to view what their child is learning.
Congressman Harris issued the following the statement:
“As a father of six children, I am proud to join Congresswoman Debbie Lesko’s Protect Kids Caucus because we must shield our innocent children from any agenda that seeks to corrupt them. As we witness disturbing levels of sexualization targeting children, it is both important and appropriate for Congress to focus on protecting our kids. The Protect Kids Caucus forms a basis for parents and educational experts to discuss threats our children confront, and directs Congress to take legislative action when and wherever needed. I am proud to join this caucus and look forward to the important work we will do.”
