Congressman Harris Delivers $9 Million to Middle River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company for New Fire Station and Equipment

Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) announced that he delivered $9 million through the Fiscal Year 2026 Transportation appropriations bill to upgrade the Middle River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company in Baltimore County, including the construction of a fire station and the purchase of a new ladder truck.

Statement from Congressman Harris:

“Our volunteer firefighters are on the front lines every day protecting families, homes, and businesses in Baltimore County. This investment will give the Middle River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company the modern facilities and equipment it needs to respond quickly and safely when every second counts. It was my honor to deliver this funding for Maryland’s First District.”
