Congressman Harris Announces Department of Justice Grant to the Cecil County Prevention and Overdose Response Team
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) Chairman of the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Subcommittee on Appropriations released the following statement after the Department of Justice awarded a grant in the amount of $982,806.00 to the Cecil County Prevention and Overdose Response Team.
Congressman Harris issued the following statement:
“I am pleased to see the Department of Justice awarded this sizable grant to the Cecil County Prevention and Overdose Response Team. Drug overdoses continue to impact many across Maryland, and it is vital our communities have the tools and resources needed to provide proper care to those experiencing overdoses.”
