September 19, 2023

Washington, D.C. –Congressman Andy Harris M.D. (MD-01), is pleased to announce his office’s inaugural participation in the Congressional App Challenge.

The Congressional App Challenge is a national event, where students in Congressional Districts across the country can compete to create internet applications (apps) developing their coding and software design skills.  The Congressman is confident this annual event will foster young constituents’ interest in pursuing higher studies in Computer Science, as well as potential future careers in growing technological fields such as cybersecurity and software engineering.

Students may submit apps dealing with any topic prior to November 1, 2023. Contestants may compete individually, or in teams of up to four participants. A full list of rules is available here.
