Rounds, Tillis say release of more H-2B visas needed to allow temporary workers into U.S.

U.S. Sens. Mike Rounds (R-SD) and Thom Tillis (R-NC) led 138 members of Congress in urging the Trump administration to release the almost 70,000 already-authorized H-2B visas that would permit temporary, non-immigrant workers into the United States to fill critical seasonal job opportunities.

"If significant H-2B cap relief is not provided, there will be severe consequences for seasonal businesses and our economy generally," wrote Sens. Rounds and Tillis along with U.S. Reps.
