Harris Helps Constituents

The letter you are about to read contains an extremely rare viewpoint, one that is a positive message regarding Congressman Andy Harris. Last July I had a question concerning Medicare and prescription drug coupons. In hopes of finding an answer, I composed a letter and sent copies to Congressman Harris, Senator Ben Cardin, and Senator Chris Van Hollen. Within a couple of weeks, I received a phone call from Congressman Harris' Kent Island office offering assistance. A couple of days later, I received from the same office a consent form to allow them to pursue my inquiry. On March 6 of this year, I received a letter from the Department of Health and Human Services with an answer to my question.

As of yet I have have received no response from either Senator Cardin or Senator Van Hollen. It appears to me that Congressman Harris is the only representative I have in Washington that cares for my individual concerns and is willing to offer his assistance to a constituent.
